Johnson & Johnson Thailand achieves sustainability goals by implementing SAO cleaning system

To move toward its sustainability goals, Johnson & Johnson Thailand Limited began improving its cleaning systems to align with becoming a green organization — reducing the use of chemicals that affect both employees and the environment.

The switch to SAO

One of the key steps behind this shift was moving from traditional cleaning products to Stabilized Aqueous Ozone (SAO).

Traditional cleaning products contain chemicals that can harm employee health and the environment. Switching to SAO simplified the cleaning process while providing a safer working environment by removing exposure to harsh chemicals. After SAO cleans and disinfects a surface, it reverts back to water and oxygen, leaving no chemical impact behind.

The result

One of the most rewarding outcomes has been watching Johnson & Johnson employees embrace the transition from traditional cleaning products to SAO technology — adopting a system that reduces risk and increases safety for staff while supporting the company's environmental commitments.
