Another Great News to Celebrate

Another great news to celebrate!

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the regulatory agency overseeing therapeutic goods, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biologics, has registered Stabilized Aqueous Ozone (SAO®), Tersano Inc.'s innovation, as a disinfectant. This represents a significant milestone for Tersano, and TGA's decision symbolizes SAO's continued success in gaining recognition from regulatory agencies worldwide.

Tersano aims to reduce the environmental impact of traditional cleaning chemicals by providing SAO solutions as a sustainable and effective alternative. This patented technology serves as a multi-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, and deodorizer that has been approved by government and regulatory agencies across the globe.

SAO kills germs through a process called oxidation. When the active ingredient (ozone) comes into contact with the cell membranes of microorganisms and bacteria, the cell walls become damaged, destroyed, and cease to function. This oxidation process enables SAO to reduce bacteria by up to 99.99% without using traditional chemicals that harm the environment.

SAO's status as a registered disinfectant with TGA allows us to proudly discuss its effectiveness. As part of the Australian government's Department of Health, TGA designates products as disinfectants only after they have demonstrated compliance with detailed quality, safety, and efficacy standards. These standards include passing specific microbiological tests.

We would like to thank Tersano's distributor, Ecofy, for making SAO's registration possible and for increasing recognition of its safety benefits.
